Our IVF program combines expert medical care with leading laboratory technology. After stimulating the ovaries and monitoring your progress through bloodwork and ultrasounds, eggs are collected at our Edison facility under anesthesia. They are then fertilized in the lab and grown for about five to six days. When needed, ICSI is used to assist fertilization. Finally, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) is routinely performed to identify chromosomally normal embryos, as well as gender if desired. Thereafter, frozen embryo transfer (FET) into the uterus is performed to begin the pregnancy process.
