metforminFertility treatment can be a massive expense — and for those without infertility insurance coverage, that expense may feel insurmountable. At the Center for Advanced Reproductive Medicine & Fertility, we do everything we can to make sure our patients can afford the care that will help them achieve their dreams of becoming a family. This includes partnering with organizations that provide programs that offer relief from the financial burden. Below please find some current programs that may help patients save money on their fertility treatment.

It is important to talk to your doctor about the medication you will take, and the fertility medication your doctor prescribes for you may or may not work with the plans listed below. If you have any questions about your medication or these programs or the participating pharmacies we recommend, please contact us and we will be happy to help. Please also keep in mind that every patient also undergoes a financial consultation, where you are free to ask any and all questions regarding the cost of your treatment.

Compassionate Care

Patients prescribed Gonal-f®, Ovidrel® or Cetrotide® may be approved for a medication discount through Serono Pharmaceuticals’ Compassionate Care program. Uninsured, income-eligible patients — as well as some insured income-eligible patients, or low-insured patients — as well as military veterans can qualify for a significant discount. Based on your level of need, you may be approved for up to 75% off of your Gonal-f and Ovidrel prescriptions. You will need to provide:

  • Competed enrollment form
  • Completed patient authorization forms
  • Income verification
  • A copy of DD-214, for military veterans

Once approved, you should get an email and snail mail with a redemption card. Please bring this card with your prescription to a participating pharmacy, such as Mandell’s Pharmacy in Somerset or through the Freedom Fertility Pharmacy, to receive Compassionate Care benefits.

For more information please visit the Compassionate Care website or call 855-541-5926.
